A significant part of the modern population of the Earth owns some kind of transport. In developed countries, cars are especially common. Consequently, at some point there was an urgent need to create effective regulation of the increasingly intense road traffic. An international sign system was created. Currently, the entire variety of such symbols is divided into several main categories. Let's look at some of them.
Warning signs
This category is distinguished by the fact that a significant part of the designations is framed by a red triangle. In this way, they seem to focus the attention of the road user on a possible danger, which, in turn, is pointed out to them. Of course, the designation system includes the most common options for dangerous sections of the road. Movement along them requires maximum concentration and timely adoption of measures to stabilize the situation. For example, this could be an intersection with a railway, tram tracks, traffic control with traffic lights, dangerous turns, road surface features, permitted pedestrian movement, repair work, the possibility of animals appearing, and so on. If you see an exclamation mark in a red triangle, you should remember that such a designation includes the so-called “other hazards”. These are all kinds of threats to the further successful and stable movement that are not provided for by other symbols.

It should be remembered that not only in the previous category there is such a symbol as the red triangle. The sign is also included in the priority group. Here, a similar symbol also serves to attract the attention of the driver of the vehicle. A red triangle in the context of this category warns of the intersection of a main road with a secondary one, as well as the junction of the latter. It is important to remember that rapprochement can occur both on the right side and on the left. Let's look at another important question. What does an upside down red triangle mean? This symbol is called “Give way” and means that a traffic participant heading towards the intersection with the main road along a secondary road must take all necessary actions so as not to impede the movement of other drivers.
Advantage or shame?
Only a person who has received a license to drive a vehicle experiences great joy on such an important occasion for him. However, while driving he is not yet able to perform all actions correctly.
Now there is no instructor next to him, ready to correct the wrong movement at any moment, and he drives the car in real conditions, on the road, and not separately on the racetrack. Active city traffic can easily cause a lot of stress for a new driver; a lot of problems and difficulties can arise while driving. Most likely, such unpleasant sensations will arise “thanks” to the surrounding car owners who have the majority of experience and who are unsympathetic to newcomers.
The traffic rules state that the “Beginner Driver” sign should be affixed to the glass or body of a car by those people who have less than 2 years of driving experience. It is worth considering that this is not just a recommendation, it is a rule that everyone who falls under this category must strictly follow. Despite the fact that this rule has been in effect for almost 6 years, most beginners consciously do not put on the “shameful” sign, since they treat it not as a privilege or the possibility of understanding on the part of other road users, but as a mark showing the driver’s incompetence. Many simply do not believe that such a sign gives them new opportunities and eliminates misunderstandings on the part of other drivers. In order to find out if this is true, a novice driver can independently conduct the following experiment: try driving without this sign one day, and stick it on the next day.

Legal basis
The “Beginner Driver” sign, introduced on March 1, 2009, was a necessary measure; this was facilitated by the recent increase in the number of road accidents, the culprits of which were, for the most part, inexperienced drivers. They are the ones who are considered a risk group on the road until they “gain” a certain amount of driving experience. Seeing a person with such a sign in front of them, neighboring drivers will show understanding and will not honk at every wrong move.
In paragraph 8, which describes the provisions on the admission of vehicles to operation, there are the following lines: “Vehicles driven by people who have had a license for less than 2 years must be equipped with a special “Beginner Driver” sign, which looks like a yellow square with with a black exclamation mark. This mark must be located on the rear window of the motor vehicle. The only exceptions are motorcycles, self-propelled vehicles and tractors...”
Are there any penalties for violation?
Despite the fact that every novice driver is required by law to observe these symbols, not a single legal document states the punishment to which the offender will be subjected. Therefore, installing a “Beginner Driver” sign is just a matter of awareness. Only the car owner himself decides whether he needs such a mark or not. It is worth noting that some conscientious traffic police inspectors, who stopped a car for inspection, impose penalties on newcomers for the absence of the required sign. The main argument is the Code of Administrative Offenses, where Part 1 of Article 12.5 contains a list of faults prohibiting the use of a car, however, in fact, there is not a single word in it that speaks about the sign in question. From which the conclusion follows: consider such actions of the traffic police to have no legal basis.
Location
As mentioned earlier, the red triangle is most often found in warning signs, the main purpose of which is to alert the driver to possible dangerous situations on the road. Consequently, the traffic rules describe the need to install it at a certain distance before the start of the suspicious area. Within a populated area, this value ranges from 50 to 100 meters, and outside it varies from 150 to 300 m. In some cases, additional installation of a special sign called “Distance to object” is provided, where the required value is displayed. In addition, if the dangerous area is quite long, it is also possible to install an “Area of Action” sign, which is installed under the corresponding warning symbol.
Solution #2: Update drivers

If any sign is located on a yellow background, this means that it is temporary. In relation to warning symbols, this may mean that the danger has arisen relatively recently, and road authorities have not yet had time to take measures to eliminate it. If you saw a red triangle on a yellow background and identified it as a priority sign, then it is likely that repair work is being carried out somewhere along your route. They were the reason for the change in movement on this section of the road. Of course, we should not forget that if there are regular and repair signs, it is imperative to comply with the requirements of the latter.
If your car has a handbrake sensor
If your car is equipped with handbrake sensors, then such a signal may be a warning about its malfunction. Problems with the handbrake cables can have the same effect. After all, it is enough to carelessly slide off the side or, when going out into nature, to “sit” on a nearby cobblestone so that the cable receives a strong load along with internal damage. It will still work for some time, but eventually the damaged area begins to become “shaggy.” And, as a result, even your muscle strength will be enough to jam the brakes using the cable (when you release it, it cannot return to its previous position, and the car goes on the brakes).

Currently, all signs included in traffic regulations are made on a metal base, which is coated with a special reflective compound. This makes the sign visible at any time of the day. In some cases, LED contour lighting may be used. It is provided either by miniature incandescent lamps or the more common LEDs.
The display on the dashboard is necessary to inform and warn the driver about the occurrence of various malfunctions, indicate the on/off of various functions, activation of systems, etc. Instrument panel indicator lamps are usually made in the form of icons and inscriptions of various colors (red, yellow, green, blue).
In this case, it often happens that instead of a separate icon, an exclamation mark lights up on the instrument panel. In practice, the exclamation mark icon on the dashboard may light up when you press the brake pedal, and the color of the icon may also change when the background is red or yellow. Solution #6: Increase memory capacity
As Nvidia mentioned earlier, error code 43 can be triggered by a conflict between the RAM and the video adapter. There is a fairly effective way to normalize the operation of devices - increase the amount of allocated memory. This can be done as follows:
- Click on Start and then on “Control Panel”;
- Find and open the “System and Security” category;
- Click on the “Administration” item;
- Select “System Configuration” from the list of administrative elements.

- Select the active operating system and click on the “Advanced options” button.

- Select the “Maximum memory” section, check the box next to it and set the desired value, for example, 8 GB;

- Now go to the “Registry” tab, click “Search for problems” and at the end click “Fix selected”. When prompted to create a backup, select No. After that, click “Correct marked”.
- If you have an antivirus program, check your entire computer for viruses and malware.
- Go to: “Start” – “Control Panel” – “Programs and Features”. Some programs may conflict not only with applications and the system, but also with video card drivers, which may result in “error 43”. Set sorting by installation date. After this, you need to remove all suspicious and unnecessary programs that, in theory, could be installed in the background without your knowledge. If I were you, I would go through the entire list and remove everything unnecessary.
- Now we also need to check startup. On Windows 7, you need to click on “Win + R” and enter the “msconfig” command. On Windows 10, you need to right-click on the lower work area and then select “Task Manager”. Go to the “Startup” tab. All included programs start with the system. There may be both useful programs and unnecessary ones that interfere with the operation of the OS. Set the sorting so that you can see all enabled applications, and disable unnecessary and, most importantly, suspicious utilities.
- At the very end, reboot the computer.
Solution #3: Uninstalling the NVIDIA Graphics Driver
Error code 43 is often associated with a graphics driver not working properly. This can be understood by the yellow icon next to the video card in Device Manager. If there is such an icon, then you should try to remove the NVIDIA graphics driver by following the following instructions:
- Press the Win + R key combination. This will bring up the Run window.
Enter devmgmt.msc into the empty field and click OK. Device Manager will open.

- Find the Video adapters category in the list and right-click on the NVIDIA device. A drop-down menu will appear, select “Delete” from it.
- Restart your computer and make sure the problem is resolved.
Solution #5: Registry settings
There is no need to figure out how to fix the error manually, since there are special programs that analyze the registry and correct detected inconsistencies. CCleaner is one of them. Moreover, this program is widespread, so we will consider it as an example.
- Download the program from the link.
- Launch the program and go to the Registry tab in the main window.

- Click on “Fix” after finishing the analysis.

The procedure should be repeated several times, since the program does not always immediately detect all inconsistencies or it was not able to eliminate the malfunction during the last cycle. To check if the method helped, you should restart your computer.
