Following the popular sedan with good technical characteristics, the VAZ concern is entering the Russian market with other modifications of the model in station wagon bodies.
The cars will be assembled at a new plant in Izhevsk, which will minimize production costs. Apart from the attractive price and some new options, the marketers have decided to attract new customers with some interesting steps. Thus, for station wagons, their own color scheme was developed, including some exclusive designs.
Colors of the all-terrain Lada Vesta SW Cross 2021
In parallel with the launch of the civilian station wagon, its off-road modification Lada Vesta Sw Cross was also released.
The model features a different design, the presence of unpainted plastic trim on the side sills and wheel arches, as well as a completely redesigned interior design. The interior of the car is now made in two-tone tones, and on the front panel, seats and door panels there are inserts that harmonize with the body colors. The changes also affected the technical part. The car received increased ground clearance to 203 mm. The civil variation has a ground clearance of 178 mm. Due to this, the height of the car increased (1532 mm +20), and the weight of the car also increased (the increase in weight was 100 kg). The cost of the car will be from 756 to 848 thousand rubles. Additionally, the range of body colors has been expanded. The Lada Vesta Cross station wagon received a unique Marsala orange color.

The use of galvanic treatment of the body at the initial stage increased resistance to through corrosion by 10 times compared to the previous method. Cataphoretic primer means using tricationic phosphate as a protective film and adhesion using an electrolytic reaction.
The degreasing process is carried out after cleaning the metal roughness in chambers or baths. To apply the phosphate layer, the product is immersed in a galvanic bath. A negative charge is applied to the metal parts; the primer solution is exposed to a positive charge. The phosphate compound settles on the body, forming a strong adhesion to the metal particles.
At the next stage, the body is washed in a bathtub or in a chamber. The final stage of priming is a drying chamber, after which the paintwork is applied to the car body. It is then dried, inspected and defects eliminated, after which the finished product enters the assembly line.

Lada Vesta sedan body colors
The sedan has been known to buyers for a long time. A compact, inexpensive machine with a nice appearance and modern features. The price of the car fluctuates between 555 and 788 thousand rubles. The buyer is invited to choose one of 9 possible color options (the shades Lime and Krypton have disappeared from the palette):

Exclusive package palette
In the fall of 2021, a new modification of the sedan called exclusive became available to the buyer. This variation can be recognized by its chrome door handles, 17-inch alloy wheels and a unique badge on the trunk. However, the changes affected most of the interior decoration.
The exclusive package includes an expanded list of options, the list of which includes a rear view camera, climate control, 4 airbags and many other devices. The cost of a car starts at 764,000 rubles.

Exclusive solutions for the CNG version
This year, VAZ engineers also presented a new model LAda Vesta CNG.
A distinctive feature of the car is its dual-fuel engine, capable of running on both gasoline and methane. The 1.6-liter engine was equipped with methane gas. Visually, the car does not differ from the standard modification, but some details are visible in the interior. A switch from one type of fuel to another will be located on the center console, and the level of methane consumption and gas range will be displayed as a function of the on-board computer. The 90-liter tank is located in the trunk, thereby reducing its useful volume to 390 liters. When driving on methane, engine power and torque drop by 10 units. However, with two tanks fully charged, the car can travel more than 1,000 kilometers. At the same time, the cost per kilometer of travel when driving on methane will be 1 ruble.
The model will be assembled at a plant in Izhevsk, the same place where other variations of the car are assembled. The gas version is available in the following colors:

Pluto
The most popular are the dark gray ones. Although black is still beyond competition. Pluto reserves the right to a premium look, but at the same time allows you not to get lost among friends. Some problem areas on the car body that have lost their presentability can be quickly restored with the help of simple tools, so the use of Pluto is definitely suitable for most novice motorists.
Design plans for the future
According to management statements, the concern is not going to stop there. Following the latest modifications, it is planned to release an off-road station wagon with all-wheel drive and a 4x4 wheel arrangement. It is believed that the appearance of the model will change, and its body will acquire unique touches.
Currently, the most expensive Exclusive package is available only for the sedan body type. However, soon it is planned to launch civilian and off-road station wagons in the Exclusive configuration on the market. The exterior of such cars is also subject to changes.
The same can be said about methane modification. Only the sedan is currently available in showrooms. But the latest news suggests that the appearance of station wagons with a bi-fuel methane engine is not far off. Their design will also differ from the usual design. So AvtoVAZ designers still have plenty of work to do.
