The electric motor consists of a stator with permanent magnets and an armature with an elongated shaft, at the end of which a screw (worm) is threaded. This arrangement provides different speeds of rotation of the armature, necessary to change the frequency of operation of the purifier.
A gearbox consisting of a helical gear meshing with a worm at the end of the armature shaft is attached to the electric motor on the commutator side. The gear is located on a shaft to which a lever system is attached. On the opposite side of the shaft on the gear there is a cam that actuates a movable contact that ensures that the brushes stop in the extreme position.
