UAZ Patriot fuse box
Cars with ZMZ-409 engine from 2005 were considered
Where is the fuse box.
Most fuses are located in the mounting block in the passenger compartment, in the instrument panel on the lower left side. To get there, you need to turn the cover locking screw and, overcoming the resistance of the upper fasteners, remove the cover.

UAZ Patriot fuses - what they are needed for and what they are responsible for
The fuse is responsible for the proper operation of the electrical circuit and in the event of an overload or short circuit, the fuse of this part burns out. If one element burns out, the driver detects a malfunction of any electrical system of the car. Therefore, in order to eliminate the malfunction, you should first check the fuse link, which is located in a special block of the UAZ Patriot SUV. But in addition to these parts, the SUV also has relays, which also fit into the mounting device.
Description of fuses for the UAZ Patriot car: location, diagram, price
UAZ Patriot cars are equipped with blade-type modules. Cylindrical ones are not used due to obsolescence.

Signs of faulty fuses
- On the dashboard, indicators indicate a malfunction of the power unit, transmission, or electrical power system;
- The mechanisms are not functioning, the battery is charged, the electrical supply circuit is not damaged;
- Uncharacteristic operating temperature of modules;
- The smell of melted plastic can be heard in the car.
Causes of fuse failure
- Failure to comply with technical inspection deadlines;
- Purchase of non-original spare parts;
- Unprofessional installation;
- Mechanical damage to the mounting block;
- Short circuit in the electrical circuit;
- Damage to the insulating layer;
- Oxidation of contacts;
- Loose terminal blocks;
- Condensation formation, water getting inside.
