Be careful during the first couple of hours, because due to a warm engine, the oil may not only be hot, but also come out under pressure.

Be sure to remove the old oil filter on the VAZ 2114, which is located at the rear on the passenger side. It is usually easily removed by hand, but sometimes it does not just give in. Use a special key.

Whether you add it or not can be checked using a dipstick;
Wait a while for the oil to settle;
Now take the dipstick and check the level. Optimally, the oil should be at a level between the Max and Min marks indicated on the dipstick.
